Dynamic Conversion Tracking Value Sales from a lead site.

I need to track conversions from a lead site...

Lead site -> Product website -> Sale

I need to track the sale that takes place (as a $value) from the product website, that was driven there from the lead website. I have conversion tracking set up already but its not right. What is the best way to handle this? Where do the codes go? and HOW do you set a variable value per conversion based on a sale price?

Thanks

Hi Mike H,

The easiest way is to use the AdWords conversion code on the thank you page after the order is confirmed. Have your shopping cart fill in the value of the conversion. How you accomplish that depends on you shopping cart. Ask your developer.

Your conversion code will look something like this if your shopping cart is PHP and the total amount of the conversion is in $grandtotal:

<img height="1" width="1" border="0" src="https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1234567890/?value=<?php echo $grandtotal ?>&label=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&script=0"/>

I hope this helps.

Best of Luck!

Pete
