Hello There,

My conversion figures at AdWords are not as same as google Analytics. I linked my adwords with analytics.

The figures at "Advertising --> Adwords" in google analytics is more than what adwords conversion is showing. I am very sure

the figures in Analytics are right. Why the adwords not showing figures properly or anything I am missing?

Could someone plz advise me.

Thanks.

Hi Advsol,

Here is a great post by a Googler on this exact topic:

Discrepancies in Google Analytics - Clicks vs Visits

This should help clear things up a bit for you, basically AdWords and Analytics are different in how and what they track.  The numbers will more often than not, have discrepancies.

Hope this helps!

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the information. Does it mean, analytics track more in details and so gives you indepth, precise information?
