Data loss

We're using Google Apps for Enterprise for our mail. We used to have a dedicated (G)mailaccount <edited by a Community Manager as noted below>. This account was then used to create a Google Analytics account.

Due to administrative reasons the mailbox <edited by a Community Manager as noted below> was removed (because there wasn't any mail/sent received on this account). Then <edited by a Community Manager as noted below> was set as an email alias on the Gmail account of <edited by a Community Manager as noted below>


Since that moment we're unable to login to the Analytics account that first was registered with <edited by a Community Manager as noted below> I've removed the alias from <edited by a Community Manager as noted below> last friday, and recreated <edited by a Community Manager as noted below> as a full account in the hope to get access to the data but when logging in into Analytics results in an empty profile with no data.


Is is possible to restore all the lost data to the Analytics account <edited by a Community Manager as noted below>

Hi @Philip H;

Well... This seems to be an Apps issue;

If the Apps account was deleted - all its data is  gone. Though  there are 5 days during which you might be able to restore the account and the data associated with the account.


Your Apps Admin should call Apps support ASAP and try to restore the account;

Google Apps global support phone numbers are listed here; ("contact us"  -  at the upper right corner)
