Converted clicks are more than email I am getting

 I am running a AdWords campaign and Now I am facing little bit problem regarding converted clicks. Usually when i see 10 converted click in my campaign then I got 10 email as lead through my contact form. But now Problem is, I am getting more then 30 converted clicks but getting 4 or 5(lead) successful email only. Please let me know if you have anyone suggestion.

Hi Sushil,

The first thing to check would be - your conversion code. Did you accidentally add the conversion code to some other page(s) as well? You should also check  Tools > Conversions > Webpages. If you see more pages than you actually implemented codes on, it means conversion codes have been replicated on other pages. Remove such duplicators.

Also, do you have Goals setup in Analytics and you have imported them to AdWords? It may also be one reason for one conversion being counted more than once.

Finally, check your website forms. Are they working fine? The 'thankyou' page should open only on successful submission, not on every click on 'submit'.

Hi Ratan,

I have checked the webpages in conversion section and there is only one page which is thank you page. Also I have goal setup in analytics and imported them to adwords. but this problem is happening only from last week.

I have checked the contact form and it is working fine.

Hi Sushil, 

You need to check the installation of your conversion code on the website. Use Tag Assistant Extension for Google Chrome for this purpose. 

Also, how many different conversions do you have setup in your account? 

The mismatch in data is usually caused by wrongly setup conversions.

I've just noticed a similar problem, starting on 1/14. We haven't changed any conversion code on our site.

It appears some goals from Analytics had been applied inside Adwords Conversions. Once we removed these newly created conversion goals from Adwords -> Conversions, they began recording as they had previously.

Unfortunately there isn't a change log for the Conversion section within Adwords, so we could not determine who, or why these goals suddenly started recording conversions.
