Conversion actions - 2 different success pages

I have 2 different success pages for our website. one is recording the organic and other is recording paid campaign conversion. Shall i create 2 different goal tracking conversion in Adwords or keep it simple? Please advise.

Right now i created 2 different conversion actions for 2 different pages. Both are recording different data. What shall be the best way to track them.

Hi Veer Ji,

 

I suppose u have 2 different objectives one is organic & other is paid.  If you have only one landing page for paid & other one is for organic there is no point of creating 2 different conversions in Adwords.

Paid can be tracked using adwords conversion tracking & Also you can use a different goal in Analytics.
& Organic using Goal tracking in Analytics. Also implement UTM tagging.

 

Moreover, Pages are different they will definitely record different numbers.

There are multiple landing pages i am using for paid campaign and somehow the main website i am using for organic and paid both.

Paaji, I guess you have same thank you page for all the different landing pages.. Don't go with the different conversion codes, as every time the code with trigger automatically.

 

Instead setup 1 goal & implement funnels for each campaign/landing page.

There are 2 different Thank you pages, one for website and other is for all the landing pages i created specially for Adwords.

Do UTM tagging for each of your campaign & your done, But make sure to setup goals before setting up this.. Pull out the source & medium report from analytics.

 

Other than this no need to implement different conversion codes for your campaigns. As code will trigger to the corresponding campaign only.
