Conversion/Goal Values: What Would You Do?
OK, this may seem basic, but...
how do I assign a value to my Goals in Analytics and Conversions in AdWords in this situation:
B2B company with long sales cycle; recurring revenue; each client will have a different value, so a particular conversion probably has a minimum value more than a set value. There is no actual sale of a product or some other action with a set monetary value.
I'm guessing that I'm thinking abut this too much, as usual ; ), and that I should just use a value of the minimum potential annual revenue.
Does that make sense?
Re: Conversion/Goal Values: What Would You Do?
I would suggest going with an annual expect minimum value or an average annual value.
Now do people who want different services contact you different ways. For example people who want service A use this form while people who want service B use the other form. If they do you could create different conversion goals at different values.
