Character Limit for dynamic remarketing ads
"We are currently using the Dynamic Remarketing Ads for the account and was wondering what the character limit is for the headline to not be cut off. We had a headline with a character count of around 80 and only saw the first 50 characters. We would like to prevent the headlines from being truncated, so please let us know how we should proceed with creating these ads."

Since the ads are dynamic, they are auto-resizing to fit the space. Because of the action of the product, there is not a set headline to follow precisely.
With that said, there are two different headlines utilized, depending on the ad space.
- Short Headlines - this is the first line of your ad and appears in tight ad spaces, where the long headline doesn't fit. Short headlines can be up to 25 characters, and may appear with or without your description.
- Long Headlines - this is the first line of your ad, and appears instead of your short headline in larger ads. Long headlines can be up to 90 characters, and may appear with or without your description. The length of the rendered headline will depend on the site it appears on. It it is shortened, it will end with ellipses ( ... ).
While using a dynamic ad product, there are pros and cons... and not being able to absolutely control your headline is a con but a part of how it is suppose to work.
You could utilize a standard ad, which has a precise headline character limit set.
