I copy and pasted the conversion code to my confirmation page exactly and I still get the missing CDATA comments error. What is going on and how can I fix this?

Typically it means that your CMS has changed a character in the code automatically. It is a common problem in WordPress. In my experience this won't affect the tracking.

If you prefer, and you are using Analytics, create a goal for visits to the page and import the goal into AdWords.
