I have added onclick event to track button clicks. But issue is, it is not showing correct data. Is it true that google will count any click as conversion whether form is not correctly or not? Please guide with explanation

Hi Vishal,

Analytics event clicks count clicks on the button. If the button is for submitting a form, each click will be counted regardless of whether the submission was successful.

For forms, there are two better options:

1) Thank you page, with regular AdWords conversion code on it, or an Analytics goal for the page visit

2) Google Tag Manager - it can track successful form submissions, but will be more complicated to set up if Tag Manager is new to you
