Automatically changed conversion values from 0 to 1.000000

I was just checking on some conversion tracking issues for a client, and noticed that Google automatically changed the conversion values in all of our tracking scripts. My question is, will this change in values affect my conversion tracking? Do I need to update the script on my conversion page?

What used to read:

var google_conversion_value = 0;

now reads,

var google_conversion_value = 1.000000;

This change is also reflected in the url source:

<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt="" src="//www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/#########/?value=1.000000&label=############&guid...

Hi Jon,

The changed values will record 1 (whatever the currency is) for each conversion value. Previous values would record 0 value.

How did Google change the values automatically?

Best of Luck!

When I originally set up the scripts, which was before the recent change to conversion tracking, the given value was 0. When I checked them at the end of last week they were all 1. My assumption is that this has to do with the new default in setting up conversion script.

I understand the meaning of the value, but my question is if it matters that the script placed on the site has a different value than the one that Google assigns to the conversion.
