Any benefit to tagging adword URL's?
I was wondering if there was any benefit to tagging your URL's in adwords? I.e. instead of putting the destination to domain.com, put domain.com/?utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=adwords instead.
I read somewhere that people did this but I thought that analytics can already tell when the source comes from adwords.

AdWords already tags your urls with this data if auto tagging us turned on (it us for most people). You can add additional parameters to your url from AdWords beyond the standard 3 dimensions but there's absolutely no reason to tag manually like that with AdWords unless you have a really good reason to or if Gclid parameter is breaking your site.
