Analytics App Install In Adwords
So currently iOS App Install in Adwords is only available for Display ads and not Search. I was wondering if a possible work around would be to track iOS App Installs in Analytics and then import these conversions into Adwords?

Unfortunately, as I am sure you are aware, Apple does not allow any code placement or callbacks on the app store so Google is limited here.
I am aware of advertisers who upload offline conversions to GA and then into AdWords the way you described but have had little success as it cannot be tied back to the keyword. You can tie it in to the userID (a la cross device conversions) but this is complicated and not entirely accurate. It also requires that you have some sort of user database to link it all to and many apps will not implement this if it's not needed.
If you can trigger a conversion on opening of the app (a first time welcome screen for example) and link this to the USERID in Cross Device Conversions, this is your best bet.
I've seen some more custom solutions in the GA and GTM dev forums so you might want to have a look there as there might be something a little less cumbersome than what I have outlined.
