Hi Stefan,

Can you elaborate where the error actually occurred?

Did you try installing the conversion tracking code and faced this issue or something else?

Hi Pankaj,

actually I am using Joomla 3.4.1 CMS. Within a view, I have the code:

$js = '
<script type="text/javascript">
/* <![CDATA[ */
var google_conversion_id = 1049253076;
var google_conversion_language = "de";
var google_conversion_format = "1";
var google_conversion_color = "ffffff";
var google_conversion_label = "9a-WCO7Qw1cQ1Kmp9AM";
var google_conversion_value = '.number_format($value,2,".","").';
var google_conversion_currency = "EUR";
var google_remarketing_only = false;
/* ]]> */
&lt;/script&gt;
&lt;script type="text/javascript" src="//www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js">&lt;/script&gt;
<noscript&gt;
<div style="display:inline;">
<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt="" src="//www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1049253076/?value='.number_format($value,2,".","").'&amp;...
</div>
</noscript&gt;
';
echo $js;

in <?php ?> brackets.

You may have a look a the source code.

Regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

I saw that the code is there. Did you try any of the troubleshooting steps to verify the code:

You can click your own live ad and fill up the form to reach thanks page. Then wait until the data is refreshed in your account.

You can also use some of the debugging tools to check the code. More details are available here:- https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722021?hl=en

Let us know if this helps!

Pankaj

Hello Rankaj,

thanks your reponse. You can simply invoke the "thanks"-page without filling out any forms (I know this is not the correct way, but it will be fixed lateron - it is useful for debugging).
In Chrome, I have installed the tag assistant (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tag-assistant-by-google/kejbdjndbnbjgmefkgdddjlbokphdefk) which delivers the error message I have posted in the subject.

In my interpretation, no track will take place until the error is fixed.

Regards, Stefan

Hi Stefan,

I wouldn't worry about it, it seems to be a strange side-effect of jquery in Chrome, but the conversion does get recorded.

If you look at the Chrome developer tools network tab you'll see that the tag fires, generating a pixel request (http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1049253076/......) initiated by conversion.js which gets canceled but then the exact same request fires again initiated by jquery.min.js

In my case it turned out to be a timing isse: I had a custom event firing from the webapp, but the next pageload appeared immediately afterwards and aborted the tag firing
