Adwords remarketing tag not found by adwords

I have added the remarketing code to my site.

Tag assistant says:

Remarketing Tag (new) 1072659810
Conversion ID              1072659810
<script> tag found.
Suggestion: Both <script> and <iframe> used. more info

In the audiences section of my adwords account it keeps saying: We haven't detected the AdWords tag on your website.

How can I troubleshoot this?

Hi javier,

Steve and Mini beat me to this! I was going to say AdWords doesn't really look for the tag. That message appears until some is added to the list. Looks like it may be a bit buggy, too.

That has been happening to me also for the past few weeks - the page is saying that the tag has not been detected, when it clearly has been - and is working as the audiences build.

I suspect it is a bug - and I think I recall someone escalating this to Google a while back. Watch your lists, see if they start to build - they probably will.....
