Adwords Auto tagging with a custom parameter appended
We are implementing some conditional page content based on a URL parameter ie Show the 'Computers' picture if the person visits the site from a 'Laptops' campaign. Our PPC specialist is reluctant to turn off Auto Tagging as I understand we'll lose granular data about the ads.
How can we use auto tagging and append a custom URL parameter so that our click thru becomes:

Yes, you can use auto-tagging and manual tagging at the same time and get the results you expect. There is a limit to the length of the query string AdWords will send with the click, I believe that limit is 1024. You're nowhere near the limit. If you have keyword level destination URL's, be sure to update those as well.
