Adding Conversion Tracking Code to a Google Docs Form

Hi,

We have a Google form in our company website, we are doing an Adwords campaign now but we don't know how we can put our conversion tracking code in the "thank you" page of the Google form.

How do we insert the Adwords Conversion Tracking Code on that thank you page?

Thank you

Héctor

Hi there @Hector L;

You have no access to the code.

A work around a programer once suggested me, was to set a "thank-you" page  (to redirect the user) once the user fills in the form, and install the code on the "thank you" page.

Hi MosheTLV,

How can I do it? I'm not a programer. Could you help me?

Regards,

Héctor

Hi @Hector L,

As Moshe said, you will need a 'thankyou' page where you will add AdWords conversion tracking code. The next step would be to redirect the form to this 'thankyou' page.

To be honest, it's going to be a bit technical. You will need the help of a web developer if you don't find yourself comfortable with it. It won't be practical to explain the entire process here, but I will guide you to a few external (not Google's) resources -

  • Styling the form and understanding the basics on how it works - Link
  • Directing form to a 'thankyou' page after successful submission - Link

All the best!

Thanks

Thank you both.

I will try, I don't know if I will be able to do it.
