AdWords conversion attribution when multiple conversions completed by one visitor

Hello,

How does AdWords apply multiple conversions that are completed by one visitor / ad click?

If a visitor clicks an ad, then completes the form (conversion script 1), then clicks on to a different page on the website and completes a different form (conversion script 2), will this report as 2 Conversions in the AdWords Conversions column? Or will AdWords report only 1 unique conversion in the Conversions column, and report the 2 in the All Conversions column? Both conversions would be set to "one" not "every".

Thanks for your help.

The Conversions column shows only conversion actions set to count as conversions

The All Conv column shows conversion actions set to count as conversions + those that aren't.

In your example you would get 2 conversions in the Conversions column. You can tell AdWords to only apply one conversion per conversion action, but if you had 10 conversion actions and the visitor completed each of them, you'll see 10 in the Conversion column.

Ways of fixing this:

assign relative values to conversions. So a phone call might be worth $10 but a form fill only $3

don't count lesser value actions as conversions - have them only show in the All Conv. column

use Google Analytics goals for some actions and use the data in Analytics
