AdWords Display remarketing traffic no longer under google/cpc ?

Hello,

I know this is a question about Google analytics but : Why is the Display remarketing traffic now shown separately with a different Source/Medium than google/cpc ?

Those 10 clicks marked as "googleads.g.doubleclick.net/referral" are from remarketing ....

What happens with clicks from Search remarketing , are those still google/cpc ?

Edit : since this has happened I am also unable to see "Placement URL" as a secondary dimension for Display Remarketing so I cannot tell from where the traffic is coming. Basically AdWords specific metrics are no longer visible for remarketing because the trafic is no longer classified as "cpc".

Is anyone else experiencing the same separation of traffic under Analytics just for the remarketing campaigns ?

Hi Adrian

Yes when I check Acquisition - All traffic I also only can see google/cpc tab.

I still can see how much traffic  I'm getting through Display using Channels tab. But it wont seperate normal display camapaigns and remarketing.

So it must be a problem with my analytics account since it is showing the remarketing campaigns traffic under a different source/medium than google/cpc ?
