Ad Grroup->Keywords->"Est. fist page bid" column->Value is set to "--" after editing Max. CPC

Hello AdWords Community!

I have the following case:

====================

Step 1: I have a campaign with the Bid strategy "Enhanced CPC"

Step 2: In my ad group, in the keywords tab, I display the column "Est. fist page bid". This value for a keyword is "0.87 Euro".

Step 3: The "Max. CPC" value of a keyword is "0.16 Euro (enhanced)".

Step 4: I change this value to say "0.90 Euro"

Result:

======
The column "Est. fist page bid" value is changed to "--".
The "--" remains even if i set the "Max. CPC" to the previous value.
If i refresh the Browser the "Est. fist page bid" column is showing the estimated value again.

I do not understand why this is happening. Is this a bug or expected behavior? Am i doing something wrong?

Thank you very much in advance :-)

Have a nice day!

This has always happened to me for Est. First Position Bid. The way I see it is that the estimate needs to be recalculated with a change in bid, which could impact quality score. Quality score help determines the estimated bid. The new estimate might be slightly different, or it could be a bug since the other Estimated Bids don't do that!

Hi,

This does seem like a bug. You should be able to modify the bid.
Try using editor and uploading. This may work as a temporary solution.

Hope this helps!
Cheers,
