Hi Ratan-Jha,

How about in the other case where you have two websites (selling the same products--one targeting US customers only and one targeting Australian customer only) but you manage both through the same adwords account? Would this be considered a violation of the policy?

Thanks

Joseph

Hi, this is an interesting but complex issue. We have two website selling identical products (however one in USD and one in AUD). We only have one ad account so all ads are run out of the same account.

However we do geographically target different areas so the USD website targets USA and the AUD site target Australia. Would this mean we are NOT in violation of the policy?

Thanks

Joseph

Hi Jose,

As long as the two website do not serve ads in the same auction, you are not breaking policy. Keeping them segregated to different countries is good.

Also, if one company owns both websites, then using one AdWords account is okay. However, if they are two different companies, then each company should have their own AdWords Accounts.

Kind Regards,

James
