"Symbols" in ad

Hi!

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask for help solving my problem...

I'm trying to create an ad and it always tells me that I have "symbols" on the copy text even after removing all symbols....

This is a Universal app campaign....

I think the problem is because the app name has one exclamation mark but that comes from the app store....

I've attached one screenshot.

Hi @Rodrigo G,

Universal App campaigns require each line in the ad text to be independent. So make sure each line ends and is independent of each other. Remember that not all lines will be shown at all times.

Once you have that taken care of. Resubmit your ad and wait for approval.

Kind Regards,

James

Hi

I know that.... I had to change the text so many times and I could not use punctuation because it was complaining about "Symbols" ....

But if I change that it will not solve the problem because it's complaining about "Symbols" not about the copy text.....

I will try to change my App name on Play Store and See if it solves the problem....

Best regards, Rodrigo.

I've changed the title and resubmitted the ad after a couple minutes I received one email saying:

"Hello,
This is an important warning to tell you that your AdWords account is at risk of being suspended due to violations of our advertising policies. If suspended, your account will no longer run ads."

I'm done! I will just delete this ad!

I'm literally telling them "take my money" and they don't want it.....

I'm creating a new Game in the next weeks, I will try adwords again and if it doesn't work or I get the account suspended I will never use it again or recommend it!

Best regards, Rodrigo.

Hi @Rodrigo G,

You are missing the point I presented.

In your first post, you include a screenshot of your ad, which each sentence is dependent of each other. And when you do this, you will get the error/warning you are getting since each sentence must be used on its own, not dependent on each other.

Oh!

I had exclamation points on my first ad copy, then I removed everything...

So it was complaining about symbols because I did not had any....

I tough it was the opposite.... Because it complained about having exclamation points first.....

Thanks for your help but I've already deleted the ad....

I will try to do another in a couple of weeks...

You are very welcome. Things can get confusing when first figuring out all of the requirements.

Please let us know how things go and if we can help further.
