I want to display image ads such as banners and squares rather than just text. How do I do that? I have watched several tutorials, but I am not sure how it actually works. I don't want "ad with a few words after it" - I want the visual banners and squares.

I don't want it to show like this:

Ring in 2017 with waltzes, operatic selections and a glass of champagne!

Instead, I want an image that I upload. Like the attachment

Thanks, Josh. I am looking to upload images rather than responsive ads, I think. I just don't want the text to show up as the default. Does that make sense?

Hey Cheryle,

What text are you specifically talking about? Are you referring to text ads?

Hey Cheryle,

The link you attached seems broken but here's an explanation that explains how you can upload your existing banners to AdWords.

#1 Select the campaign you want to use to run your banner ads.

#2 Go to the "Ads" tab

#3 You should see a red button that says "+ Ad" - click it.

#4 You'll see a few options here, you should select "Image Ad"

#5 Now click the button "Upload an Ad"

#6 Now just select the ads you want to use and upload.

Its that easy. But let me also ask you Cheryle. Have you properly setup your campaign? Which type of campaign did you select? What is your "Display Network" audience targeting set to?

I hope this helps!

- Josh
