Removing access not possible
I have a MCC account with MCC sub accounts. I gave an access to a user to one of the MCC sub accounts, but now I want to give access to a second MCC sub account and he can't accept it with the same e-mail.
So, I am trying to remove the initial access and grant access to top MCC level (basically to all MCC sub accounts). The only option though under Actions is 'notification settings', but no 'terminate access' option.
Any idea how I can delete this account? I have administrative access.
As far as I know the issue appears when you try to remove the access from a MCC level, but when I go to the separate accounts of that MCC level, I don't see the e-mail there.
Thank you all!
Re: Removing access not possible
Hi Ani D, how are things?
Until now, you can only have one account per e-mail, so your thinking on removing the access is correct. It would be so much better if Google provide access to more accounts for one e-mail.
The problem you're having usually happens when you try to remove the access from a person from a different place rather than the original. I mean, if you logged in on the sub-mcc (with the sub-mcc e-mail) and gave him access, you need to use the sub-mcc account to remove him. Even with Admin access on your top-level MCC, if shouldn't be able to remove ones access if you didn't use this top-level mcc account to grant him access on the first place. Well, that's from what I have experienced.
Now, if you on the top-level admin access what the person who granted ones access..this is kind of weird, but you can also try to access the sub-mcc main account and try to remove it.
One other thing: An Adwords account must ALWAYS have at least one e-mail with access. So if that person is the only one with access in that account at the moment, you should invite another e-mail with admin access, and this should give you the option to remove the desired one.
Hope this helps.
