Problem connecting an account to my mcc account[ Edited ]

A new costumer wants to connect his existing AdWords account to my MCC account.
I typed in the AdWords ID on my account, and he got the invitation.
However, when he clicked the notification for approval of my access, he got the message that there was an error. And that he could try F5'ing/trying again.
He did several times, with no luck.
Any ideas on how to move on from here?

Hi @Stine N,
Terminate/delete the invitation from your end.
Ask the client to delete his browser's cookies and cache. Make sure that he is using the latest version of the browser.
Now, send the invitation again.
