Location Exenstions (GMB)

How do you link another account that has GMB locations to Location Extensions? Are you only able to link GMB locations that has the same log in as your AdWords?

For example

  1. I want to unlink "testlocations1@company.com" (which is also the AdWords log in).
  2. After unlinking, I want to link "testlocations2@company.com" so I can use their GMB locations.

I think the easiest way to go about this is to add @testlocations1@company.com as a manager of the GMB account associated with testlocations2@company.com.  This way you can use locations from both accounts if necessary, or filter locations at your discretion.

I am experiencing a similar challenge. I manage a corporate account that has 50 locations all with verified GMB. I want to add these as locations, however when I log into my MCC as me, I cannot then access the gmail account of the client (where the GMB accounts live) and instead Adwords seeks to add my own personal ad agency to the clients ads.

In summary, I am logged in as agency@agency.com to adwords but need to access client@client.com to link location extensions from Google My Business

Your agency@agency.com account needs to be given admin access to the client@client.com GMB account. You will then be able to setup location extensions correctly in their Adwords account from your MCC.
