DSA vs Keyword Based Campaigns

We have a DSA campaign and keyword based campaign. DSA is at a very low max CPC compared to the other campaign. When both of them serve the same search term, our Avg. CPC is much lower for DSA with the same average position. Our keyword has the quality score of 7. So does this mean when search term gets triggered from DSA campaign, Quality score is much superior ? What could be the explanation for this phenomenon ?

Hi Santosh,

That could be a way too complicated explanation. Chances are the low DSA bids cap the appropriate avg CPC anyway, while the *keyword based campaign* may also earn impressions and clicks at moments when a higher bid is required due to a tougher competition.
