I'm trying opening an MCC account through https://www.google.com/adwords/manager-accounts/?subid=il-en-ns-g-aw-t-dyn!o2

I've created a new account setup a billing but when logged in I can't see the accounts tab or API settings, any one had similar issue? What's the best way to open a new MCC account?

first, you're welcome.

unfortunately, that is not allowed and there is no such concept
as using a test-account to sign-up for api-access -- a live,
active, production, my-client-center (mcc) manager-account,
is required for any api access.

after the live, active, production, manager-account,
has signed-up for a developer-token, the assigned
token may then be used with a test-account, to test
the application prior to approval.

if basic-access is requested via the live-mcc,

the developer-token will then go under review --
google's api-policy-and-compliance teams will

review the account and application details for

any policy related issues; only if the application

is approved, and the token fully activated, will

api-access be given to live-accounts.

also, there is an api-forum for more authoritative

answers and any follow-up or additional questions --

Hi @iammine,

Try this link and see what happens... Once you are in, you can bookmark your path as it will include much more data.

https://adwords.google.com/mcm/Mcm?

Kind Regards,

James

Thanks James, I can access the accounts tab using the link you mentioned but I still can't see the API settings under my account settings.

Do you know why?

Hi @iammine,

You are welcome.

Are you using Google Chrome and have it fully updated? Also, make sure you do not have any browser extensions like UBlock, AdBlock, etc.. Please check these things and then let us know what happens.

If possible, please provide a screenshot of the error.

Kind Regards,

James

also, try resetting the browser's zoom to 100% --

some options cannot be seen depending on the

browser's zoom-factor settings.

also, the api-center menu will only show on the left-hand-side
of a live, active, production, my-client-center (mcc) account --

while under the main mcc-manager's my-client-center area,

after clicking on the gear-icon in the top-right-hand-corner.

the google-login used should be the direct mcc-manager (account-owner) -- not linked.

importantly, the api-menu will *not* show under any test-account,
any regular account, or any client (section) of any mcc-account.

This is useful information since I've opened the account for testing purpose only, I want to have an access to API so I will be able to build an optimization platform that create and manage campaign.

How I will be able doing this?
