Adwords Editor issues: updates from 10.x loses draft campaign!

I have not been using Adwords for a couple of years due to a loss of effectiveness for a major client, but now have a new one that will benefit. I pulled out Adwords Editor (Mac) version 9 and created a draft campaign, could not log on to the new account and found an update, that moved me to 10.6.  I could not log in then either, so I went to a direct download at Google and it moved me to ver. 11.x   It replaced the 10.6 software and opened, but did not transfer my draft campaign.  Frantic, I tried to redownload 10.6 but it is no longer available 2 days later!    I need to reopen that file and export my draft campaign. I spend a lot of time creating keywords and negatives. ..

Any suggestion on where I might find the old content? Or a legacy version of adwords?

The data files for versions prior to 11 are in the hierarchy at ~/Library/Caches/AdWords-Editor

If you enter the following command at a Terminal window opened in the aforementioned directory, you'll find the files:

find . -name \*.db

The naming convention is ape_<external customer id>.db.

The format is sqlite db.

On a Mac, you can open the file as follows:

sqlite3 <filename>

At this point you need to be able to understand sqlite commands (https://www.sqlite.org/cli.html)

For example, to see tables in the database you'd enter .tables.

To dump campaign data to csv, you'd do the following:

.mode csv
.output campaigns.csv
select * from campaigns;

10.6 hasn't been downloadable for some time.

All versions prior to 11 would be installed in:
"/Applications/AdWords Editor.app"

Running this version would not upgrade you to version 11, which you'll find in:
"/Applications/Google AdWords Editor.app".

Yes, but I had a copy of version 9 and it won't launch. I am trying to find out where the data file might be located so I can see if I can get the info in raw code perhaps..
