Account Suspended - No email explanation

Hello Advertiser Community,

Recently, about a week after I verified my AdWords account through appeal, (because it was suspended due to "Suspicious Payment Activity") I saw a red banner across AdWords. It says "Your account is suspended - We've had to suspend your AdWords account because it contains major or repeated violations of our advertising policies. Learn more."

I've spend about $530 dollars promoting my app, and I've also read the terms of service and policy guidelines and have not engaged in any misrepresentation.

My app does has a banner ad, however it's also a type of app that many other developers are advertising using the the AdWords UAC campaign method.

I just received this email within an hour after appealing the suspension.

 

"Dear advertiser,

As mentioned in our previous email, you've submitted ads that violate our AdWords policies in this or a related account. As a result, your account has unfortunately been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google. For more information about suspended accounts, please see http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=164786

For information on the terms associated with AdWords account use, please review our Terms and Conditions at https://adwords.google.com/select/tsandcsfinder. To learn more about AdWords policies, including our suspension policies, you can review our advertising policies at http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy?hl=en

Doesn't it normally takes 3-5 days?

there is no specific set time for how long a specialist may take to respond --
if there are defined ranges these are usually maximum time-frames rather

than minimums.

 

generally, if there have already been re-reviews of the issues, or the
policy-team's decision was final -- such as for repeated violations,
any egregious violation, violations via multiple accounts, any violation
of a rather critical or important section or sections of the policies, etc. --
then the response back, for an appeal request, by the support-specialists,
may be rather quick.
