site suspended for malware, but Webmaster Tools shows site is clean!

I have been back and forth with the adwords support team.  Webmaster tools is clean, and we ran several anti malware scans that show it is clean.  They sent me the links they say are causing the site suspension, but we cant find them anywhere on our site.

Now they came back to me saying that because I have URL links in my content to other websites, this is not allowed and I should delete them.  Is it true that you can't have hyperlinks to other websites in your own website?

Need help, this is very frustrating as we are getting mixed messages and I still don't understand why webmaster and adwords run different types of scans?

yes -- the malware related policies can (also) refer to:
(a) any malware or similar malicious code directly on the site;
(b) any malware or similar malicious code injected into the site;
(c) any software on the site or links to software that is infected;
(d) any software on the site or links to software that may be harmful;
(e) redirects to other infected sites or content;
(f) links that point to infected sites;
(g) links that point to infected content.

or any similar content that google considers harmful,
violates the company's general unwanted software
principles, or interferes with what google considers
a great user experience.

Thanks @Celebird I have scanned every link I have on my site through sucuri and all links passed the malware scan there. Some of these links are tinyurl - would this cause it? I don't know what could be causing this now that I have run all the links through sucuri. I also have links to download pdf files on the site, but these are all owned by me and managed through wp admin. Very frustrating.

first, you're welcome.

if a support-specialist at google is indicating that
specific url-links within the website are pointing to
suspected sites then, those links should likely be
either changed or simply deleted, first.

external scans do not necessarily have the robustness
of internal google scans and even those may not show
the details that a hand-inspection compared to lists of
known suspect or unwanted sites, might show.

most url-shortened links should be at least considered suspect --
changing those to explicit domains may help uncover issues.

pdf files can certainly be a source of issues; any downloaded

files should be suspected -- regardless of how the files might

be managed or maintained.

given their nature and trackrecord

all word-press sites and plugins

should likely be at least a suspect.

the best likely course is to continue working directly
with google or post some of the details within the
webmaster-forums for possible additional guidance --

Thanks for your response. The support specialist is sharing URL's of sites that I don't have as links on my site, so I don't know what to delete. The URL links I have on my site, help my user experience as we list events and then provide links to other websites so that my users can register for those events.

The support person is now saying I have a bridge page, which I don't. So very mixed messages from them as well...

You can have a look at the site and let me know if you can spot something <edited by a Community Manager as noted below>
