Hi, my question is about landing page(s).  Adwords recommend you set up different ads so you can see which ads perform better (ad groups)

How can I create serveral landing pages that sell the same item without getting a duplicate content warning?  What I want or need to do is test things from different headlines, bonus offers, videos, text etc...to boost my sales conversion.

The only thing I can think of is changing the landing page Im currently using, every 500 visitors and see how that works.

Hey Samlo,

Do you have Google Analytics setup on your website? If so, you can use their Content Experiments feature in order to test different versions of the same landing page. It keeps track of all the data and chooses a winner when enough data is present. You can learn more about it here.

Thanks,

Hi Samlo25, I wouldn't worry too much about the duplicate content issue - you could certainly have two pages at a time for A/B testing.

Other than that I'd recommend using your preferred scripting language to make changes at known times (so you can match with clicks) but you'll need to make and leave the changes for long enough to gather worthwhile data.

Don't forget that Adwords Campaign Experiments can automate the process of testing different pages.
