Wrong display URL - display network?

Hi to ya all Smiley Happy

I'm promoting the hotels.com affiliate program.

I'm using my traveling mini-site as a landing page http://www.getitfree-today.com/ that redirects to the advertiser's site.

I'm using also hotels.com image banners.

Now the image ads have two fields for a URL: Display URL and Destination URL.

So all of my ads were disapproved because of a Display URL.

In the Destination URL I've typed http://www.getitfree-today.com

In the Display URL I've typed it.hotels.com

...and all of my ads were disapproved!

I don't know why.

Or should I have typed in the full link of the advertisers site it.hotels.com/offerte-hotel/it-primavera-hotel-saldi/

Or should I have typed in the same link as my landing's page link http://www.getitfree-today.com

Or should I just use my affiliate link http://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=20126&a=2228367&g=21038426, that will be against the TOS of the advertiser.

I don't understand a heck here anymore

Thanks

Hi Zavarzin and welcome to the forum.  The key to Display and Destination URLs is that they must have the same domain and that domain must be the eventual landing page of the click.  So, if your Display URL is mysite.com, your Destination URL could be http://hotels.mysite.com/deals or http://www.mysite.com/hotels/offers/3-day-break or anything like this, but it must be on the same domain as the Display URL.

If someone clicking your Ad ends up on the hotel.com site, your Display URL must show hotels.com in some form.
