Why does my ad have a phone number that I didn't authorize?

Why is there a phone number that is not a local number that shows on our ad?  When we call that number, it comes to us, but we are trying to advertise as a local company and this number (1-877-903-9960) doesn't convey the message that we want to convey...it makes us look like we are not local.

Hi;

You cannot use anymore phone numbers in ad- text, any more. Use call extensions instead.

These are the call extensions numbers that Google assign - you don't have to use them - go into the Extensions - Call Extensions and take alook.

These numbers are tracked, so Google will be able to show you how many people called and from which ad/keyword combination.

and - you probably don't want to call the number again - as you pay to talk to yourself Smiley Frustrated
