Why does Adwords Disallows me from using "Knife" keyword in text ads?

But the same thing is allowed for Amazon. Amazon is allowed to promote knife/blades/cutter etc. But a normal person like me, is prohibited from doing so?

Is it illegal to use "knife" in keywords selection as well?

Hi @harsher h

Not all knives will be prohibited to promote.

The following is not allowed:

Knives that are designed or promoted (in modern-day usage) as products that can be used to injure an opponent in sport, self-defense, or combat

Any knife design that provides a confrontational advantage (including disguised appearance or assisted-opening mechanism)

If you'd like to promote kitchen knives, or camping knives or other "safe"  categories of knives you may try to request an appeal on your ads here: https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/approvals?displayed=a1704381&origin=cluster

Regards,
Eva
