When searching for my company, a competing company's ad displays

When searching my company's name, a competing company's ad displays  (I don't yet use Ad Sense).  

 

I am thinking they must have added my company name into their adwords - can I get this removed from their account setup?

Hello middlespencer;

 

That depends in which country you reside. In most countries and territories, Google allows the use of a competitor's TRADENAME as a keyword. (But, not in the ad text.) This is a common practice.

 

In some territories, Google will investigate these cases.
