What is wrong with this page?

Google sent me a site suspension for "cloaking" and they confirmed it when I resubmitted the site.

However the page is static. It has 3 javascript banners on it. Could those be construed as cloaking somehow if someone does or doesn't support javascript? Does anyone see anything else wrong here?

Thanks for any help. This is incredibly frustrating.

Hi Jeff, "cloaking" is the practice of displaying different content to real users than to Google, for example from some sort of switch based upon the user-agent.

Since I can't be the googlebot, it's impossible for us to determine whether any cloaking is going on here on this page.  I can certainly say it doesn't appear to be cloaking from what I can tell, but I can't be certain, because I'm not Google.  Do you have any code that detects or works upon the google user-agent?

Nope. No code at all like that at all.
Welp, if no one here sees anything wrong with the page I guess I will keep bugging Google for a deeper review. My best guess is that the keywords, ad copy, site format, etc fit some sort of pattern Google looks for that indicate sites that do cloaking. I'm guessing my best bet is to just hassle them until I can get someone to do a deeper review.

Btw, correction to my initial post. Google's second email back did not mention cloaking. They changed the language to generic "policies." That's what made me thing something else might be an issue on the page. Like too many banners or slow javascript.

Hello;
Rest assured that if Google detrimied cloaking -It's cloaking. We have no tools to verify this. Check with your site programmer.

First of all, Google isn't infallible. They make decisions based on patterns that sometimes hurt the wrong people. My understanding of cloaking is that it is manipulation of the site appearance based on IP, browser, location or some other variable.

The page I mentioned does none of that at all. I was involved in building it. I know.

So my question is:

a. am I misunderstanding what Google considers cloaking?

b. Is there something else wrong with that page? Too many banners for the content? Would google really suspend a site over that with no warning?

c. What can I do?

Moshe, suspend your apparent disbelief for a moment. Do you have any ideas on what could have caused this? Do you think the site itself is ok? At least ok enough not to deserve a suspension?

OK; let me escalate the case for another review by a Policy specialist; Your last post "hints" that there could be an issue with the "healthcare and medicine " section of the Policy. ( A point I did not raise in my first reply since you specifically mentioned "cloaking".)

Yes. Google replied that the account was reinstated. Good luck with your campaign.
