In the last week or so we have been bombarded with about 20 spam e mails a day from all over the world . We want to make sure that these e mails are not eating up our pay per click campaign. Who i google can check out for us this problem to let us know if this is happening or not? Our daily requests for catalogs has dropped off dramatically

I'd be really surprised if your spam was coming from PPC. Google generally does a pretty good job of either filtering out that type of traffic from your data or automatically refunding you for fraudulent clicks.

You can review Google's documentation on click fraud here.

Most spam email tends to come from programs scanning the web. They'll find a link to your website and find your email on your site or they'll find your email on another website's page and automatically add you to a spam mail list.

If you're getting spam from all over the world and are really concerned that it's PPC I'd first check your targeting settings. Make sure you're not targeting countries that you don't intend to.

You should also be able to use Google Analytics to see what traffic sources your catalogs requests have been coming from. You can then see which traffic source has decreased and be able to pinpoint your problem immediately.
