Spammy affiliate?

Hello

We have been reviewing our Brand PPC and noticed in the USA, there is a brand advert for us with our name, URL and star rating, but it is not from our PPC account.

So someone has dupliacted our Brand ad and is now showing for this - we have tried out bidding them, but the costs would be high.

Looking into their ad we have been trying to find some sort of affiliate link - but to no avail - so we are not sure why this is happening  - why would they bid on our brand to not make any money?

The Ad when clicked on goes to a landing page, which bounces straight to our site (without adding a affiliate link) - can you see any affilaite or any tracking here? or has anyone heard of the website doing this?

Many thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for getting in touch. If you think this user is violating the terms of an affiliate program (sounds like they might be), you can report them to our team here. And they'll investigate it fully for you.

Hi Asif A Smiley Happy. You need to know that what they're doing is protecting their account and other website is duplicating their Brand ad. It means that it is a spam technique.
*Report affiliate spam: If you're an affiliate program owner who believes that an AdWords advertiser is running ads in violation of your program rules, you can report the issue to us. In your email, please provide the following:
-- Proof that you own the affiliate program and that your affiliate program does not allow affiliate ads on AdWords.
-- The affiliate link(s) that you're concerned about and the destination URLs they are pointing to.
