Someone copied my website content

If someone copies my website content, whose website should be penalised as per Google adwords policies?

The original author's website, who has spend 11 years in creating website with original and useful website OR the online thief, who used copy-paste in just few minutes (with lots of mistakes and leaving proof)?

Thanks

Gopal

Hi Gopal,

First I would like to suggest that you are mixing the concept of Google AdWords and Google Webmaster policies.

Duplicate contents hammers the website for organic listing. So I would suggest you to post your query on Google Webmaster forum:-

Hello Rakesh,

The topic is linked to Google adwords because some one has copied my website contents and Google has suspended my website in adwords. I gave them proof also and they accept and agree but still they are not invoking suspension from my website.

Don't know wehere to approach now.
Thanks

Hello,

The website URL is http://www.investmentkit.com and the conflicted portion is under www.investmentkit.com/articles section.
I'm giving you proof that my contents are original and others have copied it from my website. You may check at your end too.

After copying my contents on their website, they left some proof for this day.

Article 1
Original article title: How to download your Aadhaar card online?
Original article link: http://www.investmentkit.com/articles/2013/03/how-to-download-your-aadhaar-card-online/

3 websites have copied this article.

Website 1
http://everydiscover.blogspot.in/p/blog-page_11.html

All the images on this article are linked to my website. Just right-click on any image and choose "Open image in new tab". You'll see URL of my webiste in that image URL.

After content, refer to heading "Visitors who read this article also read:"

The 2 articles titled

How and where to check CBSE Class 12 Examinations 2013 Results?
Latest Indian Mutual Fund News | 26-Mar-2013

points to "my" website - investmentkit.com. He forgot to change link in these 2 articles. The articles on that page points to my website back.

This website has copied many of my articles, but stupid fellow committed same mistake in all the articles.

Website 2
http://cooptravelmaker.com/how-to-register-aadhaar-card-aadhaar-card-status

This website is down. Just showing link in Google search engine.

Website 3
http://hubwallpaper.net/how-to-apply-for-aadhaar-card-aadhaar-card-registration

This is NOT an written content website. Just a collection of images from different websites with their title and little description.

Now, if you just check the link http://hubwallpaper.net/how-to-download-your-aadhaar-card-online-investmentkit
the URL ends with the name of my website. Seems some software indexing different website with their domain name.

Article 2
Original artile title: How to link your Aadhaar card to your bank?
Original link at : http://www.investmentkit.com/articles/2013/07/how-to-link-your-aadhaar-card-to-your-bank/

Website 1

This article is also at the same website at http://everydiscover.blogspot.in/p/how-to-link-your-aadhaar-card-to-your.html

Here in article, there is a link to different bank forms - IDBI, HDFC, SBI, common form. All the links on his webiste points to "MY" website - again. The lazy copier did not copied the forms from my website. Just copied the links.

Also, right click on the image and check its URL, the image URL is http://www.investmentkit.com/articles/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Aadhar-logo-track.jpg

He is not only using images from my website but also stealing bandwidth from my server.

Webiste 2
http://cnks.info/Analysis/how-to-link-aadhaar-for-lpg-gas-cylinder-subsidy-to-bank

This forex webiste is full of links from other webiste, including mine, to promote their forex accounts. The whole webiste is managed by spider to crawl and save data from other website.

Website 2
http://answermeup.com/questions/attach-aadhar-card-to-lpg.html

Some one has given reference to my website in comments section. They did not copy contents but just displaying my website 1 line to help others.

I can go on and find out proof to convince you that I've spend hours and hours on finding, thinking and writing articles on my website in the last 11 years. And if I am surviving on net because of my original and valuable contents.

Now, please suggest whether the original content writer should be punished by suspending his website and "suggesting" him to make changes in 2000 articles OR the other thieves should be penalized by blocking thier website?

Please have a look on the whole matter with unbiased way and let us solve this problem.

Thanks

@Gopal K;

This is not an AdWords related issue;

There is no mirroring or framing here.  Hence, does not fall under AdWords Policy violation.

As @Rakesh Kumar mentioned, this falls under the  webmaster policy. The Google bots crawling the sites should recognize that and   might apply the SEO algorithm.

In terms of copyright  infringement of proprietary content: - this is a legal issue, which is beyond our scope. You should consult a legal advisor in your country.

As Rakesh mentioned, you might want to check similar cases on the webmaster  help forum.

Hello,

If the issue is NOT related to Adwords, how come they suspended my website in Adwords because of this reason?

Do we have any employee from Google adwords here who can look into the problem and resolve it?

Thanks

This is account specific question and we don't have access of your account. So I would suggest you to check it from your end.

Add the policy column detail page under Ads Tab. It will show you the reasons for site suspensions.
