Site suspended due to Policy issue: User safety

Hi,

My site - sensiblepcsupport.co.uk - which hasn't changed for several months has been suspended due to 'Policy issue: User safety'.

I've read the policy and the only thing I think Google could possibly have an issue with is 'One call to us can solve all your computer problems'. I don't think that's an unreasonable claim though, but if that's the problem then I'll re-word it.

Adwords support were extremely unhelpful with a generic copy-and-paste response, stating that the decision was final (I didn't ask for the decision to be reconsidered) and that they couldn't give me any more information.

Can someone give me any more information about why the site is in breach of policy?

Thanks,

Piers.

Hi Piers,

I would suggest you to read the User Safety Policy in detail (https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/1050602?hl=en) and try to implement as much as you can whichever elements are missing like physical address, not making any misleading claims, a privacy policy around how you are going to use the information you take from the contact form etc...

Once you fix it, then you have to request a review by filling up this form and let AdWords support investigate it: https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/site_policy

I hope this helps!

Where are you based? Do you have a physical store?

We tend to operate on the basis that we go to the customer and they don't come to us.

Bizarrely I haven't made any changes to the site whatsoever, nor have I submitted it for review but received an email from Google this morning saying 'We've re-reviewed your site and determined that the following site complies with our Advertising Policies'.

So either Google's policy has changed or they've admitted they were wrong ;-)
