Site suspended - Site not working (not visible to Google)

Approximately one month ago Google suspended our site - www.strataoptions.com.au - stating "Site not working". I had numerous discussions with their support team who gave the reason being that Google could not view my site. This had nothing whatsoever to do with advertising or editorial policies. I was first told that they were receiving a 404 error but also told on another occasion that they saw a message showing that they did not have the appropriate permissions.

The difficulty arises that everybody besides Google could view my site from various places in the world without difficulty. Google freely admitted the fact to the extent that a Google support person was not able to see the site through her desktop but was able to view it from her cell phone.

After suspending my site for a period of 7 days, Google instituted a manual override without getting to the root of the problem. They told me that the problem was with their crawlers not being able to view the site, however this was only from certain locations and at certain times. They could not discern a pattern and acknowledged that the problem was on their side. We did not have any geographical barring instituted at our server, according to my web host and this was not disputed by Google.

They warned me that their crawlers could trigger the same suspension action again and that they would make a note on our account so that in the event of another  suspension there would be a manual override without delay.

Now one month later I have exactly the same problem, and there has been no speedy un-suspension of the site. We are now into day 3 with the site suspended and the problem appears to be following the same lengthy processes as before.

Has anyone ever encountered this problem and if so what was the cause, and what action can we, or Google take to remedy it? If you haven't experienced the issue I would still appreciate comments on how to proceed from here.

Thanks

I have encountered something somewhat similar. The developers used an IP filter provided by anti-hacker-alliance.com to deny requests from IPs "known" for spam activities. Unfortunately some Google IPs made it on the list and our Merchant Account got suspended. As soon as that filter was removed from the application, everything was fine again.

My advice is to talk to the developers / hosting company, see if this is the case.

Thanks Adwiser - that makes sense. We're checking it now with the
developers and the web host.

Please also note that you collect personal information on a non-SSL secured page and lack a privacy Policy; (an there could be other content issues)

I would  recommend  to expand the content about the business model. Currently the landing page is designed   as a webpage, which its primary goal is  information  harvesting. (While this might not be the intent...)

Thanks for your advice AdWiser. The problem wasn't with the anti-hacking-alliance.com list but your suggestion led me back to looking at which IPs had been blocked. I found that we and not the web host had used cPanel to block a number of IPs, one of which was Googles. Everything is now fixed and we're getting lots of clicks.

I am not sure that I should click "accept as solution" but thank you anyway.
