Site policy: website can't be advertised:

Im having issues with Google's email warnings:

All my email says is :"Site policy: website can't be advertised:"

In AdWords it says Site not working.

This is so deeply and utterly frustrating because there is no information provided that actually makes sense.

My site is http://foxfire.co.za/

From what I can see (quick glance), there are two things that aren't ok.

1) Claiming to get a business "to the top of Google" is not accepted, AFAIK (though I can't quite pinpoint the policy at this moment)
2) More seriously, there is a lot of duplicate content on that website. Going to this page http://foxfire.co.za/digital-performance-marketing/ and copying bits of text and then searching for them in Google yields results on several other websites.

Hope it helps.

Also, I'm seeing no terms and conditions on the site which could be an issue.

i don't know if this will work for an site disapproval, but you can add a "Policy Details" column in AdWords that gives more insight on disapprovals.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention! I never actually reviewed my own websites content.
Ill get the guys to upload the original content and re-submit. Thank goodness this came about now before it showed up in Search console.

Thanks again!

@Patrick K;

@AdWiser nailed down the reason. Google replied that your site content was replicated from another source, and has no added value to users

Added value content is a cornerstone in promoting content / sites on Google.

Please also note that the site cannot be promoted, but  the account itself was not suspended, and is still active. In other words: you can promote other sites using this account.

The documentation is not that helpful...how do I find out what exactly is wrong with the website....????
