Redirect Ads

Something I've noticed for months but particularly over the last couple weeks is how google ads keeps getting more and more Redirect ads. These ads are especially prevalent on Mobile platforms where ads redirect to the ios or play stores. Such ads prevent access to the website they appear on so surely all of these common ads must be a violation of policy? Ads that adversely affect the usability of the websites they show up on, shouldn't these be a priority to get rid of and have never been approved for use in the first place?

Hi Stephen,

If you believe that there are some ads which are violating the AdWords Policies, I would suggest filling up this form so that AdWords can review it, investigate and take further action on this:

Trying to reply to this gets my reply deleted. It is starting to look like there is no hope for redirect ads being removed. This will be my 3rd and last attempt to reply to this non-solution. My guess is that the forum is auto-filtering my posts because of the link I post which is the ad that violates the policy.

That is not a solution pankaj. The ads in question are redirects. They are not text/image/flash/video and the URL they use can be 2000+ characters long. Such an ad cannot be put into that form.

I maybe be able to bypass the filter issue by doing this. http://pastebin.com/9YcDHZP7

That pastebin is the google ad in question which is in violation of policy and cannot be inserted into the form to complain about it.
