Punctuation and how adverts display
I'm struggling to find any recent Google policy or official guidance on the use of punctuation and how this affects how adverts display.
There are many old articles explaining the use of punctuation on Desc 1 to bring the line up to the headline and how Google will often show the display URL with the headline. Do any definite guidelines exist?
I would like to force an advert to display Desc 1 and Desc 2 on the same line, not bringing any text to the headline (or the URL if that's automatic). Is it possible to guarantee this format is displayed by not using punctuation in Desc 1?
