Promotion landing page

Hello,

We have a doubt about implementing AdWords in short term landing pages.

Sometimes we have short term landing pages that we don't index because of SEO impact, but we do have marketing campaigns with AdWords that point out to some of these pages. It happens that the AdWord is disapproved because the page does not exist, according to the message that appears.

Why is this happening and what are we doing wrong?

Should we index all pages even if they are short term landings so AdWords does not have any issue?

Thank you all for the advice...we're kind of lost with this matter.

Hi,

You must have prevented all the bots from reaching you landing pages including the Google AdsBot that is responsible for assessing the landing page quality. Make sure that you restrict the Googlebot (Google Web search) only.

To prevent only Google web crawlers from indexing a page:

<meta name="googlebot" content="noindex">

Ok, well. This is the url where the AdWord goes:

http://www.avianca.com/es-pe/promociones/detalle-promocion.aspx?idpromo=comdome-20

The thing is that this landing exists only for the dates of the ticket sale...For example: if the promo hasn't started, probbably you would be redirected to this one:

http://www.avianca.com/es-pe/promociones/.

Thank you.

Thanks for your response. Just to confirm: Actually, the landing has this meta code:

<META name="robots" content="NoIndex" />

If I use it of the one you tell me, I would never have the same issue of approval of ads?

Plus, the landing wouldn't be in the SERP's?

Thank you so much for your advice.

I've just confirmed "Robots" will not block the AdWords bot unless you explicitly block it. In other words, as long as you don't mention AdBot, you're fine and sure that it can access your site.

You should consider other things, Could you share the link of you pages? Many experienced members here can help.

Hi Ahmed,

Can you share how you confirmed "... 'Robots' will not block the AdWords bot unless you explicity block it."?
