Phone number in displayURL

Sometimes I see phone numbers included in displayURLs.

Ex "www.domain.com/Call_512-456-7533"

DisplayURL policy doesn't specifically disallow this. Ad text policy is saying "Big NO-NO".

Hi Dmitry,

Sorry I should have clarified that this is definitely not approved. Its basically trying to bypass the rules for posting a phone number in your ad text.

Also check this policy for "Relevance, clarity and accuracy" :

"Phone numbers

  • Phone numbers and vanity phone numbers can't be used anywhere in ad text or in a sitelinks extension, except for company names that are actual phone numbers (such as "1800-EXAMPLE")."

I'm not complaining. I'm asking if displayURL policy doesn't directly disallow having phone number as a part of displayURL, does that mean it's ok for advertisers to use this approach?

Thank you.
