Hi Rabecka H,

Google reviews websites periodically and it is possible that Google found your website down during the upgrade. Nevertheless, since the website is up & running, you can request a review of your site now. If you've already done so, I'd suggest waiting for Google to get back.

Hope that helps!

finally got a response.... but now I'm more lost than before. What could possibly by unsafe data collection? This is a simple magento ecommerce store. Any idea's? I looked at their help link but its a bunch of crazy stuff that doesnt really apply to my website.

Hello,

We wanted to alert you that one of your sites violates our advertising policies. Therefore, we won't be able to run any of your ads that link to that site, and any new ads pointing to that site will also be disapproved.

Here's what you can do to fix your site and hopefully get your ad running again:

1. Make the necessary changes to your site that currently violates our policies:

Display URL: iqnatural.com

Policy violation: Unsafe data collection or use
Details & instructions: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6020956?hl=en#703

If you look go through the help center article, you'll notice that the violation is about collecting personal information.

Examples: Collecting numbers for credit or debit cards, bank and investment accounts, wire transfers, national identity, tax ID, pension, healthcare, driver's licence, or social security numbers over an unsecured page which is not SSL protected and without a valid certificate.

There are two solutions as prescribed by Google - Use a secure server (https) or don't collect user data. I'd suggest using https, as it secures all data submitted on the website.

Hope that helps!

Sumanth - thanks for the input. I found that when we moved over the magento site we did not activate the SSL for the site. this has been completed now but I'm not sure how to RE-Request the site review. Can you point me in the right direction?

You can request a review here. Also ensure all your ads have 'https' in display and final URLs.

Good luck,

Sumanth
