My iOS App has exclamation marks in its name. I think this is why my Ad is getting rejected. Help

Hey all,

So my iOS App has one single exclamation mark in its name. I created a display campaign and then searched for my iOS app there and Adwords pulled the data from Apple. So this is what I see:

Untitled.png

I can't seem to be able to edit the text with the exclamation mark because it is the App title. I would not want to change my App title to get this working. Is there any other way?

Thanks

Hi Felipe,

We had a similar topic regarding Android apps in June current year.

*** Adwords ad disapproved even without any punctuations ***

I assume you can draw the conclusion on your own.

Hey Lakatos,

My assumption is that I must remove the exclamation mark, which is unfortunate... I will have to push a new version in.

Thanks,
Felipe

Hi Filipe,

As you can see it on the snip in the other thread, I of course could not change the name of the mobile app because I did not own it. It was owned by Clozaps who posted the original query in that topic. However, I did not apply the exclamation point when I specified its name in my campaign settings. Nonetheless, Google did recognize and accept the definition.

Best,
Lakatos
