Hi Rachel,

You can but just remember that you don't have any control over the pages, so it may be difficult to add tracking or optimize for conversion rate. Overall, it's usually better for campaign efficiency and performance if you have full control over the experience but it isn't necessary.

Another note - each domain is only allowed one ad per auction. If the site you'd like to use for landing pages already has an AdWords account where they bid on the terms that you wish to bid on, then you cannot open a new account because you may accidentally show two ads at once and risk being penalized.
