Is it possible to use Google remarketing ads for alcohol?

We have a winery client that is running a special for the month. We are going to send out an email blast and want to use retargeting display ads. I know there are policies set in place around the promotion of alcohol. What is the protocol for this situation?

Hi @Christina F it's just been pointed out to me by my colleague @MosheTLV that remarketing is specifically prohibited for alcohol.  See here:

https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/143465

(the prohibitions are a way down the page).  Sorry about the incorrect information.

Hi @Christina F sorry for the delay in replying.  As far as I'm aware, advertising of alcohol is restricted only in certain countries.  If you're advertising in one of the "approved" countries (see the list here: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6012382?hl=en-GB ) then there should be no problem.
